Transitioning Away from U.S. Providers: A Strategic and Ethical Step
In light of the current geopolitical climate, which includes actions undermining Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, as well as aggressive and unfriendly trade behaviour, we find it necessary to take a proactive stance. To that end, our leadership has made a strategic decision: our business relations with companies in the United States of America have been terminated. This includes paid software licences, which we have all replaced by open-source products and licensed services of European and Canadian providers.
We firmly believe in the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognizing these as essential pillars for sustainable development and a healthy, flourishing workplace. We create impact by helping institutions and businesses conduct meaningful analysis that guides their efforts in these areas, setting an example for others to follow and also striving to raise awareness. By supporting innovative solutions primarily of European and Canadian origin, we aim to support regions that share our commitment to these values and to similar business practices.
This transition underscores our dedication to maintaining our ethical standards and ensuring that our operations reflect our commitment to an inclusive world. By aligning our business practices with our values, we are confident that we can contribute to a more equitable and prosperous global community.
