Privacy policy in our business relations

In our business relations we collect the strict minimum of data we need to run our activities and we only need the data to run our activities. Here is a quick overview of the data policy, for details see below:
How do we collect? Through direct contact with you (email, phone) or via publicly available information (e.g. on your company’s website)
What do we collect? Contact information (Name, Email, Phone of the person of contact) of our business partners.
Why do we collect the data? The data is used exclusively to interact with our business partners: communication, offers, invoices, etc
Where is the data stored? On our local servers and on the web server of our hosting provider cyon.ch
Past invoices and offers that are still on Google's Servers are being migrated to our own servers.

What data is stored?

As with any connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider cyon in Basel (Switzerland) logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer).

Cookies

We only use one strictly necessary first-party session cookie (PHPSESSID) to run the website. This cookie is needed to allow our server to interact with you. No personal data is stored in this cookie and the cookie is automatically deleted once you close the session. We explicitly do not use any third party cookies nor do we track users of our website.

Why do we store data?

The automatically collected data (raw logs, as well as session cookie) are needed to operate the website in its current form. They are used exclusively for the functionality of the website and in summarised form for visitor statistics (AWstats).

Where is the data located?

All data is stored exclusively on the servers of our hosting provider cyon.ch in Basel (Switzerland) and on CORESO's internal computers (as a backup). CORESO has a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with cyon to ensure no information is shared by cyon. No data is transferred abroad.

How long is the data stored?

The raw logs are kept for a maximum of 24 hours, but can be stored on the server in processed and anonymised form (AWStats) for an unlimited time.

Privacy policy in our business relations

What data is stored?

We store contact information of our business partners, in particular the name, professional email addresses, professional postal addresses and phone numbers of contact persons.

How do we obtain the data?

We obtain data from our business partners exclusively from direct contact or from publicly available sources such as the company's or university's website.

Why do we collect the data?

We collect basic contact information of our business partners to be able to interact with them. In particular, we use the information for communication purposes, but also to deliver offers, invoices and similar documents containing the information of the contact person.

Where is the data located?

All data is stored exclusively on the servers of our hosting provider cyon.ch in Basel (Switzerland) and on CORESO's internal computers. CORESO has a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with cyon to ensure no information is shared by cyon. In the past (prior to September 2023) the contact information of contact persons of our business partners have been used on offers and invoices written on Google Documents (Google Drive). These documents are currently being relocated to servers in Switzerland.

How long is the data stored?

The legislation requires us to keep business documents for at least 10 years. In this sense, personal information (name and professional address) on invoices and offers are kept for at least 10 years.

Your right to delete the data?

If you wish us to completely delete your data from all our systems, we are happy to carry this outdo so whenever the legal requirements allow us to do so. Please get in contact with us to follow up with your request.
