The use of collective intelligence and artificial intelligence has a great potential for improving public processes and policies. Together we can make its potential even greater.

Cristina is Executive Director at Fundación NovaGob México. Her main expertise is in the field of public policy, with a focus on strategic planning, innovation, process design and monitoring, as well as the evaluation of programmes, grants and both legal and fiscal frameworks for non-profit organisations seeking to improve their performance.

Previously, Cristina was Executive Coordinator to the National Laboratory of Public Policy (LNPP) in Mexico and Executive Director of the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results (CLEAR) for the Spanish-speaking Latin America. She has also worked as a consultant for the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the MacArthur Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and the Inter-American Foundation, among others. In addition, she held a position in the Mexican Ministry of the Interior as head of the performance evaluation of the Political Analysis Unit.

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Fundación NovaGob España. Cristina is also Design Advisor for the MIT Global Innovation Initiative GOV/LAB, and founding partner of Cívicus, a management consulting firm for public institutions and non-profit organisations.
